A Proven History

The 180 Group has been operating out of central New Jersey for over 13 years. Started by Howard Spiess Sr. in 1997, he brought over 20 years of industry experience that facilitated the growth of the company.

Knowing the ins and outs of the industry, Howard created a functional model for how to run his own business. The 180 Group was created as a way for him to provide clients with exactly the right production solutions and equipment, while using the proper contacts and resources to keep budgets under control.

Over thirteen years later, The 180 Group is still growing. Through hard work and dedication to each clients' needs, The 180 Group has developed a reputation as a best in class production provider not only in the New Jersey area, but across the country, and throughout the world. We are passionate about our business and our productions' personalized service and attention to detail show it!


How We Are Different (and how it benfits you!)
As The 180 Group began to grow its client base and produce more diverse meetings and events, we identified a niche in the market. Though our clients are all very different, there are a few commonalities that began to emerge, and their needs are:

  • Controlled Budgets - This does not always mean small budgets, but controlling costs so initial pricing matches the final billing.
    • Attention to Detail - Clients and planners do not have time to consider the production minutia for each meeting. They are looking to us to handle this in a way to ensure "Flawless Execution" and stay in line with budgets.

    • Personalized Service - Consistency is key. Our clients love that they will always work with the same people for their events. The same staff you work with pre-meeting will be the one(s) working with you on-site!

    • Managing Changes - As we all know, a meeting/event is a constantly evolving thing. More often then not, the final execution of the event is far from its original vision. The 180 Group recognizes this and prides itself on its professionalism in handling changes during the planning process. Through organized paperwork and attention to detail, we can track, update, and implement all client requests up until the start of your event.
